Possibly one of the most exciting things about a new class in any game is exploring the new mechanics that come with it — whether that be new spells, new passive abilities, or even an entirely new method of gameplay, nothing feels better than sitting down with a fresh class and figuring it out. Spiritborn, the newest class in Diablo 4, will certainly scratch that itch for many players, but for others, the sheer amount of information might be overwhelming.
We're taking a look at the Spiritborn Class Mechanic — Spirit Hall: a new way to allocate Spirit Animals to provide boons and blessings!
While the data may not be fully complete, these Class Mechanic options are presented as seen in the recent content creator preview event for the Spiritborn class. As more information is revealed, we'll update you with the latest and greatest — stay tuned!

With the Spirit Hall mechanic, Spiritborn will likely be able to choose between one Primary and one Secondary Spirit Animal. These spirit animals — Eagle, Centipede, Jaguar, and Gorilla — each correspond to the different Spirit Animals imbuing Spiritborn skills with their powers. While we don't have all information for each Spirit Animal, the information we've collected to this point can be found below.
Ferocity
Ferocity increases your Attack Speed by 5% per stack. This effect stacks up to 4 times and each lasts for 4 seconds.
Resolve
Resolve increases your Damage Reduction by 20% while active. Taking direct damage consumes a stack. You can hold up to 8 stacks.
