Evo 2024, the preeminent fighting game competition also known as the Evolution Championship Series, takes place this weekend in Las Vegas, from Friday, Aug. 19, to Sunday, Aug. 21. Evo 2024 will be the biggest Evo yet; more than 10,000 players will compete in eight officially featured games, organizers say.
The games featured as part the Evo 2024 competition are, in order of number of registered players, Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Guilty Gear Strive, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, Under Night In-Birth 2 Sys:Celes, Mortal Kombat 1, and The King of Fighters 15. Competition will be fierce; Street Fighter 6, the biggest game at Evo 2024, will boast 5,265 fighting game glory hopefuls, with Tekken 8 following closely behind with 4,646 competitors.
