After the recent reports, the is hotly anticipated by the fans. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness left us with a cliffhanger ending. Clea appeared towards its end and asked for Doctor Strange’s help after the incursion he recently caused. The two portalled into the Dark Dimension and were never seen after that. But when are they returning?

According to a recent report from The Cosmic Circus, Doctor Strange’s next outing is under development. It will be based on the Time Runs Out comic, in which the story leads the readers directly into 2015’s Secret Wars event. Also, the film is supposed to provide us with a setup for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, which are arriving on May 1, 2026, and May 7, 2027, respectively.

So, it’s quite likely that Doctor Strange 3 will be given. It is the only release window before Avengers: The Kang Dynasty that currently sits vacant. If it isn’t necessary for the film to lead into Avengers 5, then we could expect it to arrive in late 2026 as well. But the possibility of the aforementioned date is much higher.
