From a new Onimusha title and a long-awaited Okami sequel to a new IP by Naughty Dog, the next mainline Witcher game, and more, there were several major new titles that were announced at The Game Awards, but though the big-hitters certainly grabbed the headlines, they weren’t the only games to turn heads. Another that looked particularly promising was Dispatch.
Developed by AdHoc Studio, Dispatch is an adventure game that its describe as a superhero workplace comedy. Players will step into the shoes of Robert Robertson, AKA Mecha Man, who is forced to move past his superhero days and work as at a superhero dispatch service instead. Player choice will be emphasized, while the game also touts a gorgeous animated look.
Meanwhile, Dispatch will also star Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad fame as its aforementioned protagonist, while Laura Bailey (The Last of Us Part 2, Uncharted 4) will also have a major role to play. Check out the game’s announcement trailer below.
Dispatch is due out sometime in 2025 for PC and unspecified consoles.
