Elemental Resistances
- Resistanes will now be Additive instead of Inverse Multiplicative.
- Elemental Resistance cap will be set at 70%, however, some effects can increase the cap to 85%.
- Armor will only mitigate Physical Damage.
- Rings will always have an All Resistance stat, as well as an individual Resistance stat.
- Players should be able to hit the 70% Resistance cap at around level 80.
- Players shouldn't fall behind, due to stats on Rings & Amulets.
- Players will use a combination of Gear, Paragon, and Elixirs to solve the Resistance equation.
Unique Items
- Unique items will have specific stats that won't exist anywhere else in the game.
- Simplified Unique effects so that they proc more often.
- Existing Unique items will be updated to have more interesting stats.
- Uniques will roll at larger-than-normal stat ranges.
- Unique items can break slot rules, for example receiving Ranks of a Skill on a Unique weapon.
Unique Item Target-Farming
- Players will be able to target-farm specific Unique items by defeating new Endgame Bosses.
