Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred, the action RPG's first expansion, now has a release date. It slashes its way to PS5 on the 8th October, giving you a few months to get your characters and their equipment up to snuff.
You can get a feel for the DLC's tone via the new cinematic trailer we've embedded above, but it's basically three minutes of that girl from the main story losing her mind. Not what we'd call a fun watch.
Will you be grinding through this Diablo 4 expansion later in the year? Please sort your inventory out in the comments section below.
Robert (or Rob if you're lazy) has been a fan of PlayStation since the 90s, when Tekken 2 introduced him to the incredible world of video games. He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Persona, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Trails, Tales — he's played 'em all. A little too much, some might say.
Me, personally, no. For me Diablo lost his magic along the way and turned out to be a garbage collection button smashing game. Very sad.
@Sergo well, you've described most of the loot-based ARPG games, you know. That is the essence of them: smash buttons, kill monsters, collect loot.
Depending on price m d4 is really fun now but still a ways to go to be great.
Good to see they're supporting the old stager still.
Even though I'm not into this kind of games, I always admire the quality of their cgi trailers
