Diablo 4 Patch Adds 6 New Uniques and 7 Legendary Aspects
Blizzard Entertainment’s pre-Season of the Malignant patch is now available for Diablo 4, and to say it’s underwhelming would be an understatement. It adds six new Unique items and seven Legendary Aspects. While the former is from World Tier 4, the latter can drop from any.
There’s a new Uber Unique, Ahavarion Spear of Lycander, granting a random Shrine effect after slaying an Elite. It lasts 10-20 seconds and can only occur every 30 seconds. It’s extremely rare, so given the current drop rates of Uber Uniques, good luck finding one sometime this year.
Perhaps the funniest new Unique is The Oculus for Sorcerer, returning from Diablo 2. It grants the Teleport Enchantment for free, so using Evade will activate it, and you teleport to a random place. How this is useful is a mystery, but it’s another thing that Sorcerers probably don’t want.
