In response to the newly announced Sonic Origins, publisher Devolver Digital recently slammed the upcoming remaster's complicated DLC release structure with a bit of clever marketing for their upcoming title Trek to Yomi. Sega will re-release four classic Sonic Genesis titles on June 23 of this year, however, what is actually included depends on just how much each individual player is willing to spend.
While the main release of Sonic Origins is pretty straightforward with two playable modes dubbed Classic and Anniversary, things become confusing to many fans when it comes to the pre-ordering process. Currently, there are multiple versions of the pre-order that provide different tiers of content with some currently unavailable for purchase even though they have been announced. Though this has been frustrating for many, some have chosen to poke fun at the complicated pre-order chart with one gaming publisher going so far as to make a much more straightforward one of their own.

Devolver Digital tweeted a 'comprehensive' guide to pre-ordering its upcoming action-adventure samurai title Trek to Yomi. In short, players on every system will get the exact same game for the exact same price when they pre-order.
