A new trailer for Jurassic World Dominion teases a major character death. The dinosaurs have returned to wreak some havoc in Jurassic World Dominion, the third and final sequel in the Jurassic World franchise and the sixth installment in the overall Jurassic Park film series. As the franchise draws to a close, some casualties are expected on the human side.
The second Jurassic World Dominion trailer is shorter than the last, but it packs an even bigger punch in terms of what’s at stake for the world’s human population. The dinosaurs are roaming free and there is no place to hide as they bombard city streets, gulping people up before they have a chance to defend themselves. And while most of the characters are fighting back against the dinosaurs, it’s Henry Wu’s emotional realizations about the catastrophe wrought upon the world (partially) through his doing that is perhaps the most surprising. Henry was one of the chief scientists, alongside Laura Sorkin, on the project to recreate dinosaurs using their discovered DNA. In Jurassic World, his genetic modifications to the dinosaurs made them more like weapons he and others could later use.

However, Jurassic World Dominion suggests Henry Wu is a changed man. In the trailer, he admits to making grave mistakes, works with Owen, Claire and their team, and is also seen holding what could be a baby velociraptor. It’s possible the film is setting up his redemption story. He’s the only one who seems to feel any remorse for his actions, which could mean Henry has realized what he's done wrong after everything that's happened and is finally willing to take action to prevent more deaths and chaos.
