While Jurassic World always shared a close relationship with the original Jurassic Park trilogy through its plot and characters like Dr. Henry Wu, Fallen Kingdom ensured that audiences were aware. The reintroduction of Jeff Goldblum's Dr. Ian Malcolm and about a dozen easter eggs referencing Jurassic Park intensified the new trilogy's connection to the first three Jurassic Park movies. Dominion brings everything full circle, exemplifying the fears that Drs. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Satler (Laura Dern) voiced in the original film. While several new dinosaurs terrorize humanity in the latest Jurassic World Dominion trailer, some new artwork highlights an old favorite.

Fandango shares the film's IMAX poster, showcasing Jurassic Park's big bad, the T-Rex, in a pose eerily reminiscent of the franchise's iconic logo. The living Tyrannosaurus — as opposed to the illustrated one in the 1993 poster art — stands menacingly behind a gate with a circular structure toward the top.
