Actor Jeff Goldblum has joked about his iconic Jurassic Park shirtless scene in a new interview with him and other members of the blockbuster film’s cast. It’s almost been thirty years since Steven Spielberg introduced the world to the big screen wonders of author Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park. The film was an immediate success, earning praise for its blend of fantasy, adventure, and horror, alongside CGI effects that had never been seen before.
Unsurprisingly, the film was an immediate Oscar contender, taking home three trophies. In the years that followed, Jurassic Park became a franchise, with its first sequel arriving in 1997. Spielberg stayed onboard as director, but the film simply didn’t have the appeal that the first one did four years earlier. Perhaps this was due to the novelty of CGI dinosaurs having worn off.
