As Season 16 starts to wind down, Bungie has started to reveal more and more details for what Destiny 2 players can expect next. While the story remains under wraps for now, Season 17 is going to be bringing plenty of major sandbox changes which aim to shake up the current meta. The studio has also dropped a few teases for upcoming exotic armor in Destiny 2with discussing an unnamed piece of armor majorly impacting players who like to battle through the air.
Outside of new gear, the entire Destiny 2 sandbox is getting tweaked with the latest blog post detailing all sorts of changes and weapon balancing. In fact, the newest weapon type is also getting updated as Bungie is making tons of tweaks to Glaives. Not only are they getting stronger against PvE enemy types, Bungie is taking away the weapon's ability to stunlock Guardians who have high health.

This weekend, players can track Xur back inside the European Dead Zone in his usual spot overlooking the Winding Cove.
