An observant member of the Destiny 2 community has noticed that one of the most sought-after weapon perks in-game is not working as intended, despite Bungie's several attempts to fix the problem. As Destiny 2 gears up for an improved state of build crafting with the upcoming Lightfall expansion, such a broken perk can become a nuisance at best and frustrating to work around at worst.
Perks are the bread and butter of any weapon in Destiny 2, as these elements amplify a player's arsenal of destructive tools to cause even more havoc. Since the beginning of the franchise, weapon perks have been the primary driving force for many people to find the perfect god-roll weapon. Some of the direct damage-dealing perks are so powerful that these have given rise to multiple meta-defining and balance-breaking weapons, such as the current reign of Linear Fusion Rifles in Destiny 2.
