Riot Games struck gold with its competitive FPS title Valorant, which was an instant hit amongst casual gamers and esports enthusiasts alike. Now, Riot seemingly wants to expand its selection of hits as a job listing suggests it is working on an MMO action role-playing game similar to Destiny.
As reported by Gamesradar, the job listing requires the candidate to be well versed in "modern progression systems in MMO FPS, Competitive Shooter, and season-driven ARPG games". The project is currently described as an "unpublished R&D product", where the interested candidates are required to be familiar with "long-form progressing systems". This comes via Twitter user PlayerIGN who first reported this listing, and also speculated that it will be based in the Valorant universe. They also pointed out that other job listings for the "unpublished R&D product" contain experience with Unreal engine as a requirement, so the game could be built using that.

Destiny 2 cracked the code to live-service MMO shooters, and so far none of its competitors have managed to do as well. Riot is certainly aware of this and is possibly looking to introduce a strong competitor for it, which is probably a good idea considering Riot has developed a rich lore for Valorant that has a lot of potential to be used elsewhere.
Everything about this listing indicates that it will be a shooter like Destiny, but a Twitter user speculated whether it could be an extraction-style FPS. PlayerIGN found this intriguing and agreed that the game could eventually be an MMOFPS or ExtractionFPS inspired by this genre.
