Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has arrived in Malaysia thanks to a new ad campaign for PlayStation 5. Over the past few months, Sony has been releasing impressive live-action/CGI hybrid commercials as part of its “Live From PS5” promotion, which depicts various strange events taking place all across the globe in connection to first-party PS5 titles like God of War Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West.
One of the many blockbuster games featured in the ongoing Live From PS5 ad campaign is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which is set to swing onto PlayStation 5 consoles sometime later this year. Official plot details for Insomniac’s next open-world superhero action title have been scarce so far, but it has been confirmed that Peter Parker and Miles Morales will finally face off against the dreaded Venom after the past two Marvel’s Spider-Man games teased the Symbiote in their post-credits scenes. An exact release date for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 hasn’t been confirmed yet, but Insomniac has revealed that it should come in the fall.

While fans are still waiting for a new Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 trailer after the game’s last showing in 2021, Sony is showing off Spidey’s upcoming gaming adventure in Malaysia. As part of the Live From PS5 ad campaign, a Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 exhibit is being displayed at Lot 10 in Kuala Lumpur from March 1 to March 14. It features a red Volkswagen Corrado covered in Spider-Man’s signature webbing and a large LED sign promoting Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and the PlayStation 5.
