After countless teases and speculation from the community, Season of Plunder in Destiny 2 brought back the classic King's Fall raid. Originally introduced in The Taken King expansion for the original Destiny, King's Fall took players further into the Dreadnaught, serving as the conclusion for the Taken War storyline with Oryx serving as the final boss. Just like the original, King's Fall has also brought back the exotic pulse rifle known as TOuch of Malice along with an earnable catalyst from an area the community has dubbed «Oryx's Basketball Court.»
In terms of Destiny 2, the raid has largely been left intact as players remembered, bringing back classic subbosses like Warpreist and Golgoroth in addition to the climactic final battle with Oryx. The final encounter plays out across multiple phases, as expected, preventing players from finding ways to down him immediately. However, one particular player got quite the surprise when Oryx seemingly broke his patterns and started appearing and acting fairly erratic.

The Destiny 2 video footage comes from a YouTuber named Mr Ex and does feature some profanity so viewer beware. In the gameplay footage from the King's Fall raid, Mr Ex seemingly gets disconnected from the event as the first phase has ended. After loading back in, everything looks as it should, with the rest of the fire team taking down enemies during a midphase portion of the fight. However, it is at this point when things start to go sideways for Mr Ex.
