When it comes to raids in Destiny 2, most of the loot that players chase comes from chests that appear after successfully completing an encounter. But in every single raid, Bungie always hides some extra chests throughout the activity. These hidden chests are a good way for players to get an extra shot at getting better perks on raid weapons along with a chance at a red border weapon.
In some raids, finding all of these secret chests is part of a Triumph (the equivalent of Achievements in Destiny 2 that will provide cosmetic rewards like shaders. This guide will cover how players can find these secret chests.
Destiny 2 King's Fall Raid Tips
The first chest can be found in the jumping puzzle section before the Totems encounter. Near the end of the first jumping puzzle, Destiny 2 players will come across a large wall. If they look closely, players will see a diagonal ledge against the wall that goes up. Once the ship that players are on is close enough, they can jump onto that ledge and carefully walk up the platform. Near the top will be a small alcove with a door inside.
In order to open the door, two players will need to be standing on the plates that are at the exit of the jumping puzzle. The door will open and stay open as long as two players are standing on the plates. On the other side of the door, Destiny 2 players will find a small ledge with a chest on it. For the two players holding the door open, two other players will need to take their place. Then these two players will ride the ship back toward the ledge, make their way up toward the door, and then go through to claim their loot.
