Destiny 2's Season of Plunder came alongside a new legacy Raid from Destiny, which turned out to be King's Fall after Bungie's promise to bring back one of the major Raids from the first game, thus excluding Crota's End by default. With King's Fall, Bungie also held the typical World First race, which is a competition that allows allDestiny 2 players to participate in an event where the fastest team to complete the new Raid in Contest Mode is elected winner. The World First race is usually a tense competition, and the last three times that it was issued it was won back-to-back by Clan Elysium, with popular Destiny 2 streamer Saltagreppo at the top of his game.
Recently, Saltagreppo brought to Twitter his thoughts regarding the World First race, and more specifically about what it takes to win in terms of gear and abilities. In a tweet, Saltagreppo explains why he thinks Destiny 2 needs to nerf Divinity, an Exotic trace rifle that was introduced with the Shadowkeep expansion and one that has been a staple of any Raid fireteam ever since. This is mainly due to the gun debuffing targets for a whopping 30 percent increased damage taken, while also creating a big crit bubble on them that allows players not to aim directly at the target's crit spots. The tweet stirred a huge controversy within the Destiny 2 community, and there are various reasons why this is happening.
