Ubisoft has now announced that The Division 2 isn't just getting an extra batch of content and a new Season before the end of the year, but that it's also planning a full Year 5 of content for the game. This comes after the game received its Year 4 revival, following a series of seasonal reruns to keep the players busy until more content was being developed.
Ubisoft's dedication to The Division 2 has been underlined by the fact that the developers seem to have a fair bit more content planned for the foreseeable future. The publisher's recent Ubisoft Forward presentation clearly announced that not only will Season 3 be released on September 13, but players should also expect lots more Apparel Events and updates over the course of 2023.
The Division Resurgence Mobile Game is Bringing Back the Dark Zone
While The Divison 2's 2021 revival came as a bit of a surprise to its loyal player base, Ubisoft has continued releasing content updates and new features for the game from that point onwards. This included a variety of additional features and game modes, as well as three new Seasons over the course of 2022. This is now set to continue in 2023, according to Ubisoft's announcements, allowing the game to remain relevant as Division offshoots such as Heartland and Resurgence explore new niches.
