Destiny 2 fan and graphic artist/3D modeler Matthew Maggart, who goes by the name 'Papa Freedom' on Twitter, has posted his set of custom Guardian armor sets inspired by Bethesda's legendary open-world RPG, Skyrim. Over the years, Bungie has substantially improved Destiny's selection of available cosmetics with a wealth of armor, and Papa Freedom's fan-made offerings would likely fit right into the game as well.
While Papa Freedom's Destiny 2 armor sets aren't 100% new creations, as they use retrofitted versions of some of the game's existing assets, the artist has successfully leveraged Skyrim's iconic design language to come up with a new look for each of the three Guardian classes. Alongside the armor sets, Papa Freedom also worked on creating Destiny Exotic versions of the Auriel's Bow and Dawnbreaker weapons from Skyrim, completing the collection.

While Papa Freedom isn't the first to produce a selection of fan made Destiny 2 armor concepts, his work on the Skyrim armor designs would hardly seem out of place in the game. In fact, now that Destiny crossed over with Fortnite, it's easy to imagine how Maggart's armor might mesh with the rest of the game's assets. Hunters would receive the Nightingale set, Warlocks one that's inspired by Dragon Priests, while Titans would essentially get the Nordic Carved armor.
In fact, Destiny 2's relatively novel Transmog feature would allow players to mix and match these armor pieces with whatever other armor they may have previously unlocked, and they'd hardly look out of place.
