Leaks are nothing new to the world of Destiny 2, and while it can be difficult to sift through what is real and fake, a player suggests a new piece of concept art for The Veil may support a notable leak about what may be coming with the next major expansion, The Final Shape. Despite being roughly a year out from release, leaks for The Final Shape have already been appearing online alongside the launch of Lightfall, offering potential information about the expansion's new location and the possibility of returning characters. It will be some time before players know for sure if some of the leaks are true or not, but as one player suggests, clues may be hidden in plain sight in and out of the game.
The Veil has become the center of many questions in Destiny 2 following the campaign of Lightfall, though few answers have been provided as of this writing. The end of Lightfall's campaign showed the power resting below the surface of Neomuna as the Witness channeled it to open a portal on The Traveler, itself, before disappearing inside it. Bungie has teased the next year's build to The Final Shape will see players learn more about the mysterious paracausal object, how it came to be on Neomuna, and its connection to The Traveler and The Witness.
