Destiny 2's The Witch Queen expansion introduced loads of new items for players to collect from different sources, such as Raid weapons and armor pieces or Throne World loot from the Wellspring. The Witch Queen's Exotics also play a big role in the current meta for Destiny 2, with examples being the Parasite grenade launcher for burst damage in some activities or Osteo Striga for add-clearing and stunning Champions. Unfortunately, Exotic glaives didn't do well at all, despite Bungie's recent buffs, and remain the expansion's worst items by far.
Some of the best new Exotics from The Witch Queen come in the form of class-specific ones that are available through Legend and Master Lost Sector farming or as a reward for completing the Legendary campaign. Some rapidly became very popular in PvP, such as the new Renewal Grasps Exotic arms for Stasis Hunters and the Loreley Splendor Exotic Helm for Solar Titans, and are currently considered among the best items in the game when running activities from Destiny 2's Crucible.

A recent tweet from Bungie stated that both of these Exotics will be tuned down in the near future to prevent players from exploiting their full potential in PvP, essentially becoming a must-have, especially in Trials of Osiris. Renewal Grasps make enemies inside a Duskfield Grenade's radius deal less damage, while also increasing the damage reduction of all allied players within the grenade. This, combined with a Stasis Hunter build with 100 Discipline and the fact that Duskfield Grenades can also freeze enemies within their radius, is what makes this Exotic so powerful in PvP.
