The Facts of Life star Lisa Whelchel says a reboot is being discussed. Starring Charlotte Rae, Kim Fields, Mindy Cohn, Nancy McKeon, and Whelchel, The Facts of Life was a spinoff of the series Diff’rent Strokes. Making its debut in 1979, The Facts of Life aired during a golden age of television which sported iconic sitcoms like Cheers, Happy Days, Family Ties, and The Golden Girls.
Created by Dick Clair and Jenna McMahon, The Facts of Life follows housemother Edna Garrett (Rae) as she nurtures, educates, and reasons with students at an all-female boarding school. The groundbreaking sitcom centers on the adolescent trials and tribulations of spoiled rich girl Blair (Whelchel), naive Tootie (Fields), confident Natalie (Cohn), and tomboy Jo (McKeon). The Facts of Life ran for nine successful seasons before signing off in 1988. In 2001, the cast of the iconic sitcom, sans McKeon, reunited for The Facts of Life reunion movie, which aired on ABC.

Now more life lessons could be in store for the characters from The Facts of Life. Per Fox News Digital, Whelchel reveals that a Facts of Life reboot is being discussed. Speaking about reprising her role as Blair, Whelchel says she is interested in a reboot that would touch on Blair dealing with life issues that come with middle age.
