Daredevil: Born Again Episode 1 Nabs Dexter Director
The director for the first episode of has been chosen, and they have a some experience when it comes to directing gritty television series.
THR is reporting that Michael Cuesta is set to direct the first episode of the upcoming Disney+ revival series. Cuesta’s past works include the pilot episodes of and, which both received positive reception and launched widely successful series.
The director even received a Primetime Emmy nomination for ‘s pilot episode and went on to direct several more episodes of the series. Cuesta has also directed episodes of series like,, and, as well as pilots for and .
is described as an 18-episode revival of the original Netflix series, which ran for three seasons. It will feature the return of leading stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio as they reprise their respective roles as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
