Albion Online Rite of Spring Returns, With Treasure and a New, Darker Cottontail Mount

 Albion Online ’s Rites of Spring event is here, with the returning event offering rewards, a new egg type, and a new darker Cottontail mount.

Many a game isfilled with bunnies and spring events right now, and Albion Online is no different. In general,you’ll be able to explore the world, find Spring Treasure Chests that pop up in various places, and see what awaits you inside. Most of the time, you'll get a number of useful items. Just by doing your normal activities and exploration, you’ll also likely find a number of colored eggs and chocolate eggs around.

Cottontail eggs are rarer, but they’ll be around too, and because of the event, chests will spawn at an increased rate in general. Expect festive eggs and useful loot, as well as a selection of available cosmetics at the vanity merchants. Maybe you’re in the mood to use the Eggsecutioner as your mighty weapon, or some bunny wardrobe pieces.

Sometimes, there will be a colorful and bright Spring Cottontail Egg. If you’ve seen the Spring Cottontail mount in Albion Online, then this is how you get one for your own mount collection. It is cute, and helps you get around with its quick hops.

This year you can get a shot to get its more sinister cousin, the Caerleon Cottontail. The new egg type this year won’t be the usual colorful and bright spring eggs, but much darker. This is the Eerie Cottontail Egg. 

The new event teaser tells you more of what you need to know and shows off the dark Caerleon Cottontail. Like the cute Spring Cottontail, the new mount also carries you around with quick hops, but you’ll certainly stand out among the other bunny riders if you get one.
