As seen in Dark Knights of Steel #7 by Tom Taylor and Nathan Gooden, Cyborg and his Teen Titan compatriots of Raven, Beast Boy, and Starfire have only just been introduced to the series and have arrived with new redesigns that fit them well. Mixing the world of DC Comics with a medieval-esque setting full of magic, politics, war, and a twist on the relationship between Batman and Superman that fans never saw coming, Dark Knights of Steel has already proven to be a fantastic read for new and old DC fans alike as the creative team has perfectly captured the spirit of the DC Universe in a new and unique way.

Tended to by this world’s version of Jonathan and Martha Kent after he’s incapacitated by a shard of Kryptonite (yep, Batman has superpowers in this one), Bruce Wayne is introduced to a group of “children” who are alternate versions of the Teen Titan team. Faithful to their original designs with an added Dark Knights of Steel flair, Cyborg gets the costume that raises the most eyebrows as it’s a low-tech look that he truly deserves in this fantasy world.
