Warning! Spoilers ahead for Dark Crisis #1
While the Son of Kal-El is proving himself to be a worthy successor to his father's legacy as Superman, he isn't quite ready to lead his own Justice League in DC's Dark Crisis. Following the death of the original Justice League, Jon Kent takes it upon himself to form a new team of heroes. However, he's quickly shown that he probably shouldn't lead the next Justice League and that others could and should lead in his place.
In his own series Son of Kal-El by Tom Taylor and John Timms, Jon Kent has become the new Superman while his dad was in space battling Mongul. During this new era, Jon Kent has quickly stepped up in a lot of ways and has often either met or exceeded the powers and responsibilities of the original Man of Steel. However, Clark Kent left some awfully big shoes to fill in his wake, something Jon has been grappling with as he works to become his own hero in the DC Universe while still honoring the legacy of Superman.

However, Black Adam is quick to critique Jon's decision, pointing out that the young hero isn't ready to lead his own League while other heroes would be more suited for the role (like Dick Grayson's Nightwing).
