Morrison is best known for their comic work, including All-Star Superman, Happy!, New X-Men, Batman, The Multiversity, Klaus, The Filth, and The Invisibles. They have previously written Supergods: Our World in the Age of the Superhero (also known as Supergods: What Masked Vigilantes, Miraculous Mutants, and a Sun God from Smallville Can Teach Us About Being Human), which is a non-fiction work discussing the history of superheroes from the perspective of an iconic writer within the comic industry. Morrison's work is hugely influential, even outside of comic books. There has long been rumors that The Matrix was influenced by Morrison's The Invisibles, for instance.
