Make Your Own Totally Original Sonic OC With This Adult Colouring Book
Despite having a large adult fanbase who grew up making OCs from recoloured Sonic designs - there's never been an adult colouring book based on the blue blur. Sure, there are ones aimed at kids that we could use, but goddammit, we have to cling onto whatever shreds of our dignity we have left. Now, thankfully, book publisher Insight Editions has come to the rescue.
A listing for Sonic the Hedgehog: The Official Adult Coloring Book has been spotted on Amazon, advertising a release date of October 25, 2022. Featuring 64 pages of original art, it's geared toward grown-up Sonic fans looking for a way to wind down at the end of the day. It can also be used to recreate some of those crappy OCs we all made back in our youth, which has to be the main appeal.

Sonic The Hedgehog: The Official Adult Coloring Book is available to pre-order now, and will set you back $12.99 (£10.55/€12.49). It will feature scenes from the games, although we don't know which ones it will cover just yet. Given the characters that appear on the cover, we can assume that it will feature Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, and consdiering the appearance of Silver, maybe even the infamous Sonic '06.
As you can see in the replies to the tweet that spotted the new book, many fans were thrown off by the word "adult" being in the title. And while there are no preview pages available just yet, I feel pretty confident in saying that no, this is not officially licenced NSFW material. I'm sorry bud, you'll just have to look elsewhere for that. Not that you'll have any problems with that, mind.
