Hollywood star Chris Evans, aka Captain America of Marvel Cinematic Universe films, has finally bid goodbye to his trustworthy old iPhone 6s and has moved on to a new iPhone. It seems like the star is not in the mood to compromise on the latest software update from Apple. The smartphone manufacturer has launched a new iOS 16 version a few weeks earlier, but iPhone 6s users will not be able to update to it. In effect, Apple has killed off the iPhone 6S. With no choice left, Chris Evans shared a long note as he moved from his old iPhone 6S to a new iPhone. Sharing a photo of two phones, Chris Evans wrote, “RIP iPhone 6s. We had a good run. I'll miss your home button. I won't miss the nightly battle of trying to get you to charge. Or your grainy pictures. Or your sudden drops from 100% battery, to 15%, to completely dead all within minutes. It was a wild ride. Rest easy, pal. #tilthewheelsfalloff.”

Well, Apple iPhones have a long life, which is why Apple has been holding its ground for years. The iPhones usually last for years if taken proper care of, however, a renowned celebrity sharing details of the gadget certainly catches everyone’s attention.
Meanwhile, Apple rolled out the iOS 16 update earlier this month on June 6. However, not all the iPhones will get this new update. Like every year, this year too, Apple has dropped new software support from a few older models like iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7 etc. The step has been taken due to the hardware limitations of the camera, or the chip inside certain iPhone models.
