Newly-released action RPG Remnant 2 was the second highest-grossing title on Steam last week.
The game was released on July 25th; before it came out, it held the No.2 spot based on pre-orders, pointing to a lot of hype around Gunfire Games eagerly-awaited sequel. Remnant 2 has already hit a concurrent player peak of over 110k, too. The game comes second only to what else but Valve's own Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Baldur's Gate 3 also hangs steady in third place once again ahead of its release out of Early Access on August 3rd. The action RPG came in ahead of Apex Legends, which was the fourth-highest-grossing title of the week. Given the upcoming Season 18 of content that is around the corner, expect to see EA's free-to-play battle royale stick around in the Steam Top Ten.
Valve's Steam Deck rose three places to No.5 on news that the 256GB SKU was available, while Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 rose one position to sixth. Horror title Dead by Daylight returns to the Steam Top Ten thanks to a 60 per cent price cut and, er, Nicolas Cage coming to the game as a killer? Cool.
Former PS5 exclusive Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is the latest Sony title to make the leap to PC, charting ahead of Naraka: Bladepoint, which drops four places to ninth.
Digital Extremes' Warframe rounds off the Top Ten.
