Newly-launched action RPG Path of Exile 2 has shot to the top spot on Steam.
Grinding Gears new Early Access release was the highest-grossing title on the platform last week, rising up seven spots. The title had already shown up in the charts on the back of supporter packs that the studio was selling ahead of its Early Access launch.
Both Counter-Strike 2 and the Steam Deck drop down one place to second and third respectively, while NetEase's hero-shooter – certainly not inspired by Overwatch – made its debut in fourth place. PUBG: Battlegrounds fell two spots to fifth, coming in ahead of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has gone straight to sixth following its release on December 9th.
Throne and Liberty returns to the Top Ten in seventh on the back of a winter event taking place, while Euro Truck Simulator 2 shot up 40 places to No.8 thanks to a 75 per cent price cut.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 dropped from fifth to ninth while Dota 2 rounds off the charts in tenth.
