EA and Respawn's battle royale smash hit Apex Legends is back at the head of the Steam Top Ten.
The title shot to No.1 following the rollout of a crossover event with Final Fantasy 7. Said event sees items from Square Enix's RPG hit come to the battle royale title, including the famous Buster Sword (which is completely overpowered and no fun to fight against, but I digress).
Respawn's shooter kicks Valve's Steam Deck out of the top spot, with the hardware having to settle for second place, while last week's No.2 – Counter-Strike 2 – drops down to fourth.
PUBG: Battlegrounds rose up from No.3 to fourth, while co-op horror title Lethal Company hangs steady in fifth place. RPG smash hit Baldur's Gate 3 dropped from third to sixth as the 10 per cent discount came to a close. Call of Duty hangs in at seventh place for the third week on the trot.
Free-to-play military sim War Thunder rose up from 16th to eighth, possibly as fans log in to earn the Swedish Armed Forces Day decal. Meanwhile, Dota 2 came back into the charts, having previously landed in 11th last week, while Warframe returns to the Top Ten, up from No.14.
