Helldivers 2 has released a new patch that aims to improve various issues for PC users. Helldivers 2 players have struggled with stability issues since launch, and the new update will hopefully improve things for many users.
The launch of Helldivers 2 saw PC and PlayStation users struggle with severe matchmaking, stability, and login issues until Arrowhead Game Studios released a couple of updates that remedied some of the problems. The patch notes explain that Arrowhead now believes it has fully fixed mission rewards applying properly, but will continue to monitor the game to ensure that this is the case. The update also revealed that in exchange for players missing out on progression rewards, Arrowhead is working on a future Helldivers 2 event with increased rewards, but did not offer a release window for it. Arrowhead did not mention when PlayStation players can expect a similar patch.
There were worries that the potential popularity of Helldivers 2 and its promising gameplay would be squandered by persisting bugs and stability issues.
