As Version 4.5 nears launch on March 13, Genshin Impact players can already have a reliable overview of the full slate of events coming in Version 4.6. While Genshin Impact has had a memorable slew of Flagship Events over the course of its history, from a gameplay perspective, they often represent the main source of Primogems that players can obtain aside from completing daily commissions. Though there's a small likelihood that the Flagship Event of Version 4.6 will match the generosity of the Lantern Rite, it is still expected to be a content-heavy patch.
Version 4.6 will introduce Arlecchino to Genshin Impact, as she is set to become the third Fatui Harbinger to join the cast of playable characters. However, unlike Version 4.5, the patch is also set to debut a new Fontaine zone wedged between the deserts of Sumeru and the ruins of Khaenri'ah. On top of the map expansion, Version 4.6 will feature two new artifact sets, a weekly boss, and presumably a Story Quest for Arlecchino.
However, thanks to the information provided by Hexenzirkel, Genshin Impact players now have an idea of what major events will accompany the evergreen world map content of Version 4.6. The leak was shared on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit by ukrisreng, a regular contributor in the community, and it speaks of yet another Itto event coming to the Fontaine patch cycle. Tentatively translated as «Arataki Life Rock Rainbow Grand Tour,» it will seemingly be the Flagship Event of Version 4.6.
Given that Inazuma has yet to have a physical presence in a Flagship Event since the launch of Fontaine, many Genshin Impact players speculate that Version 4.6 will give the Electro Nation its deserved time in the spotlight. Following a similar train of thought, with Genshin Impact's Version 4.5 focusing on Mondstadt, there is a high likelihood that Version 4.7 will revolve around Sumeru and its popular cast of characters, such as Cyno, Alhaitham, Tighnari, and Kaveh.
