As beta testing for Version 4.6 continues, it would seem that Genshin Impact will be receiving numerous quality-of-life features in the upcoming patch. Though Fontaine has added its fair share of memorable characters to the Genshin Impact cast, and it has introduced new features such as underwater exploration, it could be argued that its evergreen quality-of-life changes have been a highlight in and of itself.
Whereas many of its additions are tied to the gacha system or restricted to the region, the quality-of-life changes introduced to Genshin Impact during the Fontaine patch cycle can be enjoyed by anyone. Artifact management had long been considered a grueling affair in Genshin Impact – at least, until the process was streamlined in Version 4.3. On the other hand, Version 4.6 is set to improve another tedious aspect of the game, one that may not necessarily be tied to combat, but does have its fair share of fans all the same.
According to recent leaks from the Version 4.6 beta compiled by laine4466, the new update will make it significantly easier for players to decorate their Teapot in Genshin Impact. After reaching the final Teapot rank, the furnishing purchase limit will be increased to 10, and all furniture from the Realm Depot will be heavily discounted. Furthermore, a «Fast Obtain» option will be added, where players will be able to outright buy the missing furniture from a furnishing set simply by inspecting its details. In case the furniture needs to be crafted, it will instead automatically be added to Tubby's crafting queue.
Completing furnishing sets can be a decent source of Primogems in Genshin Impact, especially once players need to scrape together a few extra pulls to hit pity on a desired 5-Star character. That being said, given that Genshin Impact takes players to Remuria in the Sea of Yore, the world map user interface has also been changed to accommodate all the separate instances, such as Enkanomiya and the Chasm.
