This morning, developer Cygames announced on Twitter that Granblue Fantasy: Relink has become a million seller eleven days after its launch. The Japanese studio also promised 'more updates' to the game are on the horizon.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink is the sixth game released in 2024 to officially announce it has sold at least a million units, following Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Persona 3 Reload, Enshrouded, Helldivers 2, and of course Palworld, which has sold more than all of those games combined. Chances are The Last of Us Part II Remastered and Tekken 8 are also close to the million threshold and might have surpassed it already, despite no announcement being made by the respective developers or publishers.

Still, the way the game delivers its narrative as well as how impressive and tough its boss fights are is definitely worth bringing up. Overall, this is a solid game that could have been a bit more intricate.
