Pre-orders for the eagerly anticipated Black Myth: Wukong was the highest grossing title on Steam last week.
The action RPG is set to release today (August 20th) and is likely to perform very well indeed on the back of its pre-purchases. Reviews for Black Myth have been on the positive side of mixed and the game is launching amid something of a controversy surrounding guidelines given to influencers in covering the title.
Game Science's soon-to-be-hit pushes Counter-Strike 2 into second place while PUBG: Battlegrounds and Steam Deck once again charted in third and fourth respectively.
Once Human from Starry Studio returns to the Top Ten in fifth place from No.14 on the back of a 1.1 update, while Sins of a Solar Empire 2, the much-awaited sequel to the 2008 original 4X strategy game, makes its debut in the charts at sixth place.
Another 50 per cent price cut helps Cyberpunk 2077 return to the Top Ten in seventh place while Dota 2 drops from fifth to eighth week-on-week. Naraka: Bladepoint also returns to the charts in ninth – up from No.12 – in part thanks to a new update. Rounding off the Top Ten is free-to-play battle royale romp Apex Legends, which fell two positions week-on-week.
