Pre-orders for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 were the second highest grossing game on Steam last week.
The latest entry in the shooter franchise rose up six places week-on-week on the back of a beta rolling out on August 30th. Black Ops 6 is set to launch on October 25th.
Black Myth: Wukong was once again the biggest seller on Steam for the second week since its release, while Counter-Strike 2 dropped one place to third week-on-week.
Pre-orders for the Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 rose up three positions to fourth ahead of its September 9th launch, charting ahead of battle royale hit PUBG: Battlegrounds and Steam Deck in fifth and seventh respectively – both titles fell two spots.
Risk of Rain 2 returned to the Top Ten in sixth thanks to the new Seekers of the Storm expansion. Hogwarts Legacy, meanwhile, returned to the Top 100 on the back of a 70 per cent price cut on Steam.
Rounding off the Top Ten is new mech title Gundam Breaker 4 which launched on August 28th.
