Call of Duty: Warzone has had plenty of glitches, with some being more severe than others. The latest is truly bizarre, though, as it sees ground loot in Call of Duty: Warzone gaining a mind of its own and attacking players that attempt to pick it up.
Since Caldera launched, there have been several strange Call of Duty: Warzone bugs discovered. Texture issues have resulted in a number of weird occurrences, like Caldera being turned into an N64 map or the Gulag becoming entirely invisible. ADS bugs giving gamers massive noses that block their lines of sight, and a certain Operator skin has lowered a weapon’s accuracy. Now, flashbang grenades disguised as pick-ups and weapons can be added to the list of oddities.

Reddit user and Call of Duty: Warzone player shared a clip showcasing the new bug, and it is absurd to say the least. When walking up to the ground loot, the player’s screen goes entirely white, with the area near the gun entirely obscured by brightness. As for why this happened, it is anyone’s guess, though the player would have no chance of seeing an enemy if they came near this loot. Eventually, they move forward and see that it is an MP-40 SMG is causing the problem, though it can likely happen with numerous items that appear as ground loot.
Commenters also make it clear that the issue is happening on PC as well as PS4, so no platform is truly safe from the bug. Gamers do, however, say that this glitch is prone to happening on Rebirth Island.
