Like many modern games, Lost Ark is having a sort of rolling release. The game officially arrives on February 11, but FOunders Edition pre-orders received their download keys on Monday to get a bit of a head start.
And what a start that's been. In just a few days, Lost Ark is already reporting over half a million concurrent players according to SteamDB. Twitch is reporting 1.1 million viewers on Lost Ark as of the time of this writing, too.

Since Amazon is publishing Lost Ark, one suspects they've paid a lot of Twitch's content creators to give Lost Ark a try. But even still, 500,000-plus people all playing Lost Ark at the same time two days before release is a heck of a start.
Technically, Lost Ark already started in South Korea back in 2019. The game has gone through several iterations and regional releases, but the big worldwide release (for North America, South America, and Europe) is set for February 11, 2022. The game is an isometric action RPG with significant MMO elements like persistent servers, PvP arenas, raids, and more.
MMO Populations reports Lost Ark has consistently been adding players with a huge spike as of January. That's when beta testing for the North American/EU release began, and it's continued to this month with the early release of Founders Edition keys. Lost Ark has roughly 6 million subscribers, according to the site, alongside 560,000 average daily players. Expect both those numbers to grow after Lost Ark officially arrives on February 11.
In his review, Harry called Lost Ark "one of the most polished titles I’ve played for some time, especially an MMO." He gave Lost Ark a perfect score and praised the game's polished mechanics and engaged end-game content.
