Chelsea Houska and her husband, Cole DeBoer, have been doing well since their departure from Teen Mom 2, with the couple now set to star in a new home renovation show on HGTV. Since MTV debuted 16 & Pregnant in 2009, teenagers who had their pregnancy and first months of motherhood documented on camera have ended up becoming household names. 17-year-old Chelsea was featured during 16 & Pregnant season 2; fans may remember ex-boyfriend Adam Lind sending a rude text message that referred to their daughter, Aubree, as a "mistake"in her episode. Viewers of Teen Mom 2 were delighted when Chelsea and Cole were first seen together in 2015 and praise Cole for being a father figure for Aubree, who is now 12.
Chelsea is one of the most recognized Teen Mom stars out there and quickly became a fan-favorite. Fans consider the 30-year-old to be likable and relatable, with her generally-homebody storylines being a change of pace from the constant drama of some of her castmates. Eventually, issues with privacy, coupled with her children getting older, led to Chelsea and Cole leaving MTV in 2020. Since leaving the Teen Mom universe, Chelsea has started several successful businesses. The South Dakotan partnered with small boutique LaurieBelles to launch the clothing line Lily & Lottie in 2020. Last year, Chelsea founded Aubree Says, which offers home decor; Chelsea and Cole also have a partnership with Furniture Mart called Down Home DeBoers. With Chelsea and Cole having their hands in multiple opportunities, the couple plans to add one more thing to their already heavy workload.
