"A Place to Call Home" is one of the Main Story quests in Dying Light 2, during which Aiden must activate an Electrical Station located in the Central Loop, the second major part of the city of Villedor. Players must find and connect several cables within the quest area to return power to the structure and progress the story. Keep in mind that the "A Place to Call Home" quest inDying Light 2 serves as a tutorial for the several more substations that the player will need to activate in later missions.
The point of activating substations in Villedor is Aiden can assign one of the Factions to the structure, altering the City's Alignment. Within each Electrical Station, players will discover working Generators that must be connected to subsequent energy sources to power the Facility. These Generators in Dying Light 2 are easily distinguishable, with the ones turned on displaying a bright green light and the dimly red-lit Generators indicating power is required. Additionally, these areas are full of loot of useful materials, so players should always ensure they are constantly using their Survivor Sense to find hidden resources in the dark.

After entering through the quest location's entrance in Dying Light 2, players will encounter the first Generator and its correlating terminal. Fans can recognize it by the large number «1» printed on the top of the device. Taking the cable from Generator 1, drag the cord over a large pipe and connect to the terminal with the same number. Terminal 3 is located behind Terminal 1, but the required generator cable is located in the basement. So instead, head up two flights of stairs to activate Generator 2.
