A new leak suggests that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 may be receiving Das Haus, one of the more popular multiplayer maps from 2021's Call of Duty: Vanguard. Midway through Season 1, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has just launched its mid-season Reloaded update, which includes the addition of the new 6v6 Rio map and the return of The Boys' crossover, introducing A-Train and Firecracker as playable operators.
Before Modern Warfare 3, Sledgehammer's previous Call of Duty title, the World War 2-set Vanguard, was released in 2021 to poor reception. Its well-trodden setting and lackluster story campaign left many players disappointed, and its divisive multiplayer suite struggled to satisfy its longtime Call of Duty audience. That said, the small-scale Das Haus multiplayer map was a playground for fast-paced, high-octane chaos and became one of Vanguard's more memorable maps.
Two years later, it seems Das Haus may be making its return in Sledgehammer's more recent Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. On Twitter, a Call of Duty leaker named SemtexLeaks, posted screenshots of a list of multiplayer playlists supposedly set to come to Modern Warfare 3 in the future. Most notable was the mention of Vanguard's Das Haus map, which will seemingly also be included in a variety of 6v6 Mosh Pit playlists. It makes sense that such a small map like Das Haus looks to be returning for Modern Warfare 3, as the game is already host to some notoriously small and chaotic maps, such as Shipment, Rust, and its newest original map, Meat.
While unconfirmed, it's a possibility that Das Haus could make its return as part of the expected Season 2, as new Call of Duty seasons usually contain at least one new map. However, Sledgehammer has committed to creating new original maps for future seasons, so perhaps Das Haus could be paired up with a never-before-seen 6v6 map. Additionally, the leak made mention of some hilariously titled Mosh Pit playlists using the names of some of the smaller maps. «Greece E
