505 Games has announced a remake of Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons being handled by AventGarden Games. The remake will release across PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on 28th February 2024.
Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons was the first game by Josef Fares, who’s gone on to really make a name for himself as the creative mind behind A Way Out and It Takes Two. Those later games came from Hazelight Studios, which he founded in 2014, but Brothers was created in partnership with 505 Games and Starbreeze Studios.
Where his later games turned to split-screen and co-op, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons gives the control of both brothers to one play, with the two thumbsticks controlling them individually, telling a poignant tale through their journey. It released to critical acclaim back in 2013 on PS3, Xbox 360 & PC with ports to PS4 and Xbox One and Switch coming in the years following.
