While this decidedly falls into the «cheating» category, it's a good way for users to get upgrades with a much smaller time investment than what they normally need.

The video dives fully into the process, but it effectively involves visiting a shop, dropping items the player wants to duplicate, firing shock arrows from a multi-bow, and repeating the process. It sounds complicated, but it's much easier than trekking all over Hyrule playing hide-and-seek with tree spirits for hundreds of hours, if not more, just to upgrade one's inventory capacity. Plus, the other materials are icing on the cake.
The internet will always be split on whether or not it's okay to use glitches like this, but at the end of the day, it all comes down to the individual using the exploits. If they want to speed along the process, then more power to them. After all, it's their time they're spending, and life is short. For those with outside responsibilities, the investment in tedious tasks doesn't necessarily make sense.
