Urban Venture is a driving simulation game developed by Polish indie studio Simteract allowing players to become their very own Uber driver in the city of Barcelona. The game promises an authentic taxi driving experience, where the player earns money from completing jobs effectively. Rather than the chaotic gameplay of something like the Crazy Taxi franchise, Urban Venture seeks to give players an opportunity to live out a more realistic life as a taxi or Uber driver.

Unlike other driving simulation games that place players in a career based around getting from point A to point B, such as the Euro Truck games and Mud Runners, Urban Venture also lets players take on a more corporate role once they have earned enough money through taxi driving. «Being a boss will come with challenges,» says developer Simteract, «such as dealing with problematic drivers, company finances, and real estate management. There’s no recipe for succeeding in a start-up.»
