Rockstar Games'Grand Theft Auto Online has finally arrived on current-gen consoles, but one player's hilarious loading screen glitch highlights the game is far from perfect. Rockstar has put in a lot of work over the years since the game first released, and now GTA 5 and GTA Online have been upgraded for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, meaning GTA 5 has now spanned three generations of consoles.
Released on March 15, the upgraded versions of Grand Theft Auto 5 andGTA Online come with many improvements over their original counterparts. Visuals have been enhanced, now supporting 4k, 60fps, HDR options, ray tracing, improved texture qualities, and more. The games' controls have also seen improvements, with added immersion now possible with the help of the Adaptive Triggers and haptic feedback on the PS5's DualSense controller. Fans have also been particularly impressed with how fast the games load on new hardware, with GTA loading screen times being greatly improved for loading into the game or switching characters. However, new improvements usually come with a few bumps when first released and it seems some players are having a slight problem with loading.

Even with all the impressive improvements, it seems at least one GTA Online player has experienced a hilarious glitch when loading into the game on PS5. As spotted by Dexerto, Reddit user MustafaXO_O came across a glitch that killed them as they switched characters in GTA Online. In the video posted on Reddit, the player spawns in mid-air and then falls to the ground, they then continue to fall through the ground and out of the game map.
