Bethesda's open world RPG Skyrim is absolutely massive, which makes its attention to the small details all the more impressive. Skyrim is such a large and complex game that even those that have put hundreds of hours into the epic may still be surprised by things they find in its world. One interesting little detail in Skyrim may be known by the game's hardcore fans, but others may have had no idea that it existed.
As pointed out by TikTok channel hiddengamingdetails, Skyrim actually lets players boil water if they shoot it long enough with a fire spell. It's a small detail and doesn't really have any profound impact on gameplay, but it does show how much thought Bethesda put into crafting the game. Anyone interested in trying it out for themselves should be able to do so rather easily as they should already have a fire spell handy in their Destruction magic.

Besides using Skyrim fire spells to boil water, fans can also obviously use them in combat. As far as other environmental interactions go, fire spells can also light oil on fire, which in turn can be used advantageously in combat encounters throughout Skyrim's open world.

As previously mentioned, hardcore Skyrim fans likely knew about this for quite some time, but others may never have known about it. After all, there's not really any good reason for Skyrim players to waste their magic by shooting fire spells at water, and so there's a good chance most players have never bothered to do this in the game.
