Work on the Bloodborne fan-made remaster is continuing, and judging from some recent videos, it is looking better than ever.
Last week, fromsoftserve shared a few videos showcasing improved anti-aliasing and distant models. The modder also shared a 4 hours long video showcasing some late-game locations, which we advise you not to watch if you have never played the game and don't want to be spoiled. Needless to say, the video does an excellent job showcasing how much emulation has been improving in the past few weeks.
While it is definitely too early to say if there won't be any emulation issues, it looks like even a low-end, dated system may be able to run Bloodborne reasonably well via the ShadPS4 emulator in the future. A new video shared by BrutalSam showcases the game running via the emulator's 0.2.1 WIP version on a system featuring an old Intel i5-4440 CPU and a GTX 960 GPU with only 2 GB of VRAM. Performance is far from being optimal due to stuttering issues, but it's still very impressive for the emulator to run on such a dated system configuration.
More information on the ShadPS4 emulator that is making the Bloodborne on PC dream a reality can be found on its official website.
